Greetings! I'm Simba, a resilient pup who found my way to Pit Squad from St. Paul Animal Control in late January. My journey began with challenges – malnourished, under-socialized, and battling a severe case of mange. My poor skin was in rough shape, with almost no hair, and I couldn't resist the itch, often scratching until I bled.
Since my rescue, I'm thrilled to share the good news – my skin is on the mend! Thanks to a strict diet and soothing medical baths 2-3 times a week, my fur is making a comeback, bit by bit. I'm living proof that love and care can work wonders!
I'm proud to say I've mastered the art of crate and potty training. I'm not just your average pup; I'm dog and kid-friendly! However, I've met cats, and we've agreed it's best if we don't share a home.
While I'm still undergoing treatment for my mange, I'm seeking a special someone who can assist in my healing journey.
